Our Commitments

Who we aim to serve

We are dedicated to supporting women and anyone experiencing sex-based or gender-based oppression in British Columbia. Our services are designed to remove barriers and increase accessibility, with sensitivity to challenges such as immigration status, rural location, language, motherhood, and housing. As a team of young women, we are committed to continual learning and welcome your feedback on how we can serve you better.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

The Rosalind Project is committed to radical anti-racist, anti-classist, and feminist values; specifically, we believe that these values are not only complementary but necessary for the liberation of all women. We draw from a diverse pool of free thinkers to inform our work and acknowledge the histories and ideas of not only those marginalized by the healthcare system, but also those brave enough to push it towards progress.

We encourage membership and participation to all people from all backgrounds, and have designed our constitution to have open roles. Since we work with and for women, we assume the right under section 41 of the BC Human Rights Code to maintain director & board leadership exclusively to women or other non-binary gendered individuals.
